Trellis Series

The Trellis Series uses an ever-changing diamond pattern to create an open-cell structure that has a steady rhythm. These pieces are created using a combination of 3D sculpting and generative software (Zbrush and Grasshopper3D), then realized through a variety of 3D printing processes.

Ouroboros Bracelet

Picking up on an ancient archetype of the ouroboros, a symbol of perpetual change, this bracelet feeds back into itself. This acts as a mechanism for opening the bracelet - simple pull to enlarge the circle and put the bracelet on, and it snaps back to shape when released. 3D printed from nylon, and dyed with a red-orange color fade.

The Baron Ring

Using a similar diamond pattern to other work in this series, this ring is cast in sterling silver, and filled with a durable, richly colored polymer. The ring is solid, though it looks like the metal ‘scales’ are floating in a field of color.

Trellis Bracelet

A hollow form composed of the trellis diamond pattern. These bracelets are simultaneosly visually massive, permeable, and lightweight. 3D printed in nylon and dyed for a color-fast finish.
